On Thursday, Oct. 16, the Consulate of Israel in New York, Consul General Ambassador Ofir Akunis and the La’Aretz Foundation, founded by Shelly and Mike Pitman, hosted “Remember Oct. 7, a Commemoration Ceremony.” The event was held at Congregation Shearith Israel in Manhattan.
